Japanese Salad with Lettuce and Sesame Sauce
Do you want to make a delicious and refreshing Japanese salad? Then here’s the perfect recipe for you!
Ingredients for Japanese Salad (3-4 servings)
- A head of an iceburg lettuce
- 2 tsp Japanese chicken stock
- 1/2 tsp konbu dashi stock
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Salt and Pepper to taste (optional)
Directions
- Wash and break down an iceburg lettuce and cut it up into bite size pieces. You can tear the leaves up with your hands if you prefer to do it that way.
- Grate the garlic with a grater
- Mix the sesame oil, lemon juice, chicken stock, konbu dashi stock and grated garlic in a bowl. This is our salad dressing.
- Add the lettuce and mix in with the dressing.
- Sprinkle on salt and pepper for taste, if necessary
- Serve and enjoy!
